Title: Java Front UI developer with React JS

Location: Salt lake city, UT

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Java Front-End UI Developer with React.js expertise to develop, maintain, and enhance our user-facing web applications. You will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users interact with within a web application, ensuring an excellent user experience. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a passion for front-end development and UI design, who can collaborate effectively with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive and high-performance user interfaces for web applications using React.js.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional code.
• Integrate front-end elements with Java-based backend services.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Debug and resolve front-end issues and bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Work closely with back-end developers to design APIs and ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+.
• Proven experience with React.js and its core principles, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience integrating front-end components with Java-based backends.
• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, NPM/Yarn).
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and experience working closely with designers.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Java-based backend frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Enzyme.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
