Naya is a startup founded by technology-passionate entrepreneurs on a mission to reshape technology interaction. The flagship product Naya Create is a modular keyboard for creative professionals that will launch 2023. After raising the seed investment round, successfully developing the first functional prototype, we are on track to launching Naya Create at CES in Las Vegas upcoming January.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining new features and functionality using an iterative approach.
• End-to-end responsibility on the features implemented, including monitoring, identifying issues or bottlenecks and delivering improvements.
• Delivering high-quality code, focusing on simplicity, readability, performance, and maintainability.
• Optimise applications and components to improve speed and efficiency, ease of development of new features;
• Actively help the team to collaborate with bigger initiatives.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science, software engineering, related degree, or equivalent working experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years work experience as a full stack developer, developing and/or testing client applications.
• Full-stack experience in web, mobile, and IoT devices and experience heading feature development.
• Knowledge of continuous deployment, best practices, and test-driven development.

Advanced knowledge of

• Node.js.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS

Intermediate knowledge of/experience working with

• Git, GitLab, GitHub
• Working with and writing APIs
• Container management like Docker, Proxmox, or comparable technologies
• Some experience working with cloud computing systems like AWS and Azure

Understanding the principles of

• UML and Sequencing tools
• Documentation tools and platforms like Doxygen, Jira
• Experience with Integration Tests, Unit Tests, and Workflow Validation
• Understanding of Agile & SCRUM methodologies

Optional knowledge of

• Swift, C#, Dart, C++, Python, ElectronJS
