About the Role:
Are you a natural problem solver with a passion for technology and looking at the bigger picture?

Reporting to the Senior Development Lead, Customer and Senior Business Analyst, the Intern, Full Stack Developer is part of an innovative, cross-disciplinary agile team that works with a variety of technologies and business domains. To thrive in this role, you should be a front-end and back-end development ninja that weaves through different enterprise systems to deliver real-world value. Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist in designing and developing custom enterprise solutions using micro-services (e.g. web portal with integrations to Salesforce & DocuSign using technologies such as React, Node.js, DynamoDB, S3;
  • Develop quality automation tests for web applications and ensuring functional test coverage for API-driven Node and .NET Core microservices;
  • Assist the product team in building test scenarios and conducting acceptance and regression tests;
  • Create and build responsive customer-oriented web/mobile applications;
  • Contribute to each step of the product development process (ideation, implementation, and release);
  • Participate in code reviews and mentorship of other developers regarding code quality, distributed knowledge, design patterns and best practices.

Our Must Haves:
  • Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of post-secondary education, majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field;
  • Knowledgeable in OOP and SDLC;
  • Proficient in React/Next.js, NodeJS, C#, .NET Core (or equivalent);
  • Experience working with and creating enterprise integrations via RESTful APIs;
  • Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases, web application services, and microservices;
  • Familiarity with AWS (CloudFront, DynamoDB, S3) will be considered an asset;
  • Previous internship experience in software development, quality assurance (QA), or SDET will be considered an asset.
