What you'll do
“Join a dedicated team of developers working on the Sky’s award-winning products, such as Sky Glass and the Entertainment OS stack for global syndication partners.We are growing the team to work on exciting new projects and platforms and are crafting new systems and features that make using them a phenomenal customer experience. This could include streaming various content types, set up and control of devices, analytics” Head of Platform Services
  • Develop high quality, testable and performant software using agile practices.
  • Help the team choose the best solutions and technologies for the task in hand.
  • Be participating in the full software life-cycle, including support and continuous integration.
  • Assist analysts and business partners in shaping, estimating and planning new requirements.
  • Own, troubleshoot and resolve code defects
  • Mentor and coach junior members of the team
What you'll bring
  • Experienced in developing production-grade front end applications with ReactJS and TypeScript. Experience with CSS, SASS or LESS
  • Worked with state management libraries such as Redux, Flux and Mobx.
  • Written unit and integration tests with Javascript testing libraries, such as Jest, Chai, Mocha, Jasmine and Enzyme.
  • Have used revision control system such as git, svn or GitHub
  • Have experience with build management and CI systems such as Jenkins, Teamcity, Circleci, Travis, bamboo etc
  • Must be able to write high quality, elegant and clean code
  • Experience with Typescript, TDD, and Docker or Kubernetes would be an advantage

Osterley
Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
