React Job: Senior Java Developer

About the Role - It is a Melbourne based assignment that will allow suitable resources to work remotely from Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.

As a Senior Developer, you will join an experienced JAVA team focusing on MINI app development.

Your role & responsibilities:

• Design, develop, review, implement, and manage React.js application code and services for the production and pre-release environments;
• Participate in JAVA software based MINI app development, to build and deliver scalable microservices-based products;
• Understand the requirements of the customer/business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with this;
• Work with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes and tooling;
• Design, develop, review, implement, and manage continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts, systems, and any code as required;

Your skills & qualifications:

Demonstrated experience using a combination of the following:

• ReactJS, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Java, CI/CD
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices architecture and Data structures

Must have:

• 5+ years' experience working in Software Development;
• Strong experience in MINI app development (Primary)
• Experience building front end using ReactJS and JavaScript
• Experience working with cloud and container environments -(preferred)
• Experience/ability to perform root cause analysis
• Hands on Experience, knowledge and understanding of CI/CD pipeline
• Experience in Microservices architecture and design – able to understand the business needs/requirements and translate these requirements into well-designed solutions
• Good skills in time and output management
• Banking/Financial Services experience with be an advantage
