Front End Developer

JOB SUMMARY This position will be responsible for the maintenance and future development of the embedded web server of our transportation-related control and communication products. As a future member of our team, you will work with other team members to design, develop, and test solutions which impact the lives of users on a daily basis. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to work in an agile team environment with limited supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design, development, and maintenance of web user interfaces. 2. Responsible for the functional integrity and proper operation of all assigned systems. 3. Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

1. Bachelor’s degree In Computer Science or related field. 2. Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON. 3. Experience designing and developing web user interfaces. 4. Experience with any modern web development frameworks such as Angular, VueJs and ReactJs. 5. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

1. Notions of User Experience best practices. 2. Experience developing back-end services for a web application. 3. Some experience in C/C++ desired but not required. 4. Being comfortable working on an embedded Linux based system. 5. Experience with embedded and real-time systems. 6. Good English verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per day
