The Software Developer will join a newly established onshore development team responsible for supporting, continuously improving and enhancing existing Jetstar Engineering applications and systems, as well as building new innovative solutions to help Jetstar solve problems and create value in new ways.

As a member of this cross-functional team you will be responsible for:

• Coding and unit testing solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolving defects
• Sharing operational support duties
• Aligning systems to our overall technology strategy

To be successful in this role you must have experience in following technologies:

• C#, ASP.NET and .NET Core skills

• Experience with NUnit and testing automation
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• MS SQL, Oracle and other databases
• Basic cloud concepts and services
• Understanding of CI/CD and relevant tools
• Git workflow
• Agile development

Following skills are nice to have, but not essential:

• Experience in Java
• Experience in Python
• Experience in NodeJS and ReactJS
• Experience in development of API services (WebAPI)
• Familiar with RabbitMQ or other message brokers
