We are Oasis Studio.

Oasis Studio is an award winning, multi-disciplinary visualisation company specialising in serving the built world, education, and experience sectors with immersive media.

Services range from conceptual imagery through to marketing level visualisation, which we deliver in various digital formats including VR AR and associated web-based applications.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

You will be part of a small but expanding Tech Department responsible for creating and launching interactive web-based products. From day one you will be given responsibilities and projects that challenge your skills, and you will be allowed creative freedom to develop these further.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Software / Developer to grow existing skills as part of an excellent but small team. We are keen for applicants who are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and keen to develop. The successful applicant will hopefully become a key member of staff and grow with the company and the sectors it serves.


As an applicant you may not have formal qualifications in all the areas required so we ask for some form of evidence of technical ability, ability to communicate with stakeholders and keeping up to date with wider industry technological developments as this is vitally important to the position.


Qualification in web development or similar proven skill sets

  • HTML 5, JavaScript & CSS
  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Subversion.
  • Good knowledge of web design with proven examples
  • Graphics software Photoshop and others
  • Good graphical interpretation skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Enthusiasm
  • Passion for the web and its delivery of services
  • Good team working skills

Desired / Bonus Areas with and understanding / knowledge of

  • User interface design skills
  • Mainstream browsers / devices
  • Template based JavaScript frontend such as ReactJS / VueJS
  • Database design and working with databases
  • Laravel
  • Stripe / payment gateways

Proven qualifications in Web Development with Maths, English and ICT or equivalent evidence.

Salary is ultimately what you can prove you are worth and following the initial starting salary, it would reviewed after 6 months

Work Location You must be UK based and able to work from our studio up to 4 days per week with WFH on Fridays.
