Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Macro e-Trading team is looking for a senior C#/WPF developer that will help maintain and build out the existing in house application stack to meet the needs of the FX electronic trading & sales businesses. Having HTML 5, react js knowledge is a plus. The role will require the person to coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software
  • Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company
  • Maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns
  • Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch
  • Troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
  • Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
  • Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
  • 3+ Years of development experience in C#, WPF and .NET technologies
  • Proven track record in creating, maintaining, enhancing trading systems, order management systems and/or smart order routing solutions across multiple asset classes
  • 1+ years of experience with HTML 5/React js.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Java
  • Understanding of build and deployment management
  • 3+ Years of experience in Electronic Trading
