React Job: Front-end Developer II

(100% remote opportunity)

As a Front-end Developer you will develop new features and maintain web applications that support our Apps for Kids and families, including their web versions, impacting the lives of millions of children throughout the world. You'll discuss new features and improvements directly with the product team, designers, content managers and other developers on a specialized squad, finding the best solutions to create beautiful UI that amazes our customers. You'll be responsible for finding the best tech solutions, writing clean and scalable code while keeping the legacy pages up and running.

In the Front-end Developer role, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with back-end developers, designers and product people to help find the best design and solutions that fits the requirements;
• Work together with our Marketing and Growth teams to develop landing pages, blogs and/or websites which will leverage our campaigns;
• Help to design responsive, accessible and snappy and beautiful web pages and apps;
• Communicate with the team to align progress and goals;
• Act to ensure the stability and quality of the existing products;
• Follow project's code and architectural patterns;
• Monitor system performance and status;

• Adopt new technologies, best practices and processes, seeking a productive environment aligned with the standards defined by the company;
• Question existing processes and tools, suggesting improvements and changes;
• Work for an increasingly agile environment;

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience;
• Easy to communicate with;
• Open mindedness to try new solutions and technologies;
• Highly collaborative;
• Algorithms and data structures;
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript/TS;
• Experience working with web frameworks like ReactJS, Angular and others
• Able to create high performance, easy to navigate and responsive UIs and sites;
• Capable of mentoring junior developers;
• Knowledge on accessible web pages;
• Knowledge on asynchronous operations;
• Knowledge on RESTful APIs;
• Software development cycle;
• CVS systems preferably Git;
• CI/CD cycles;
• Advanced English.

Desired:

• Google and Apple development guidelines knowledge
• Experience with test automation and regression testing
• Computer Sciences or similar college degree
