The Red Hat IT Partner Integrations team is looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to gain hands-on experience with open source and Red Hat products during a summer internship to join us as a Software Engineering Intern. What you will do:
  • Work with others to solve challenging and complex business problems
  • Collaboratively describe and size the work to be done and then implement the solution
  • Write code and automated tests for the continuous delivery (CD) pipeline
What you will bring:
  • Ability to work full-time May-August
  • Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date
  • Coding experience in languages like C, Java, Javascript or Python
  • Experience using relational databases like MySQL or non relational databases like MongoDB
  • Familiarity in JS Frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue
  • Familiarity with agile software development and methodologies
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the UNIX or Linux operating system

The following are considered a plus:
  • Previous code contributions to or participation in open source projects or code samples on GitHub
  • Knowledge of Red Hat Openshift Automation Platform, Kubernetes, JavaScript, or Bash scripting
