Senior Product Software Engineer (Enablon, .NET Core)
If you are an experienced Front-end Product Software Engineer looking for a new challenge, we should talk! You could be the right person to join the Control of Work (CoW) Engineering Team at Wolters Kluwer’s Enablon in the Hague.
What are your responsibilities as Senior Product Software Engineer?
You will deliver flagship solutions to Enablon's clients in Oil & Gas, Mining, Data Centers, Pharmaceuticals, and Energy industries.
The team comprises multiple virtual sub-teams dedicated to product innovation, technical and process excellence, and rigorous quality control. You will develop and support this strategic product to meet our clients’ evolving needs and position it to take advantage of new technologies and platforms. As a senior engineer, you will have the opportunity to specialize in one or more areas of the system and to lead other developers in bringing solutions to our clients. You are reporting into Robin Getty based in the Netherlands.
  • Write clean, well-tested code which works across legacy and modern browsers.
  • Work in an agile, self-organizing team where innovation is a core value.
  • Work closely with business leaders in order to implement solutions that addresses their core safety needs
What should you bring to Wolters Kluwer’s Enablon?
You should be passionate about technology, comfortable around front-end and back-end languages, and love solving complex problems for our clients. You should have:
  • Comfortable with core JavaScript as with using existing frameworks such as ReactJS.
  • Sound programming, logic and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to write re-usable, modular JavaScript code.
  • Understand browser concepts: DOM, CSS (Experience with Less is a plus).
  • Debugging skills across browsers: IE, Chrome, Firefox.
  • Experience with JS testing frameworks: Selenium, Jasmine.
  • Versatile with JavaScript dev infrastructure tooling: Grunt, Gulp.
  • Experience with React is a plus.
  • Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
  • Experience with pair programming is a plus
  • Experience with TDD is a plus
  • Experience with Git (Github, Bitbucket).
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
