React Job: Senior Frontend Engineer (React.js)

Required skills

— 5+ years of development experience
— Expert knowledge of JavaScript.
— Professional experience building React applications using either Redux or Apollo (and GraphQL)
— Great understanding of building toolchains using Webpack, Babel, and Gulp
— Deep knowledge of CSS and how to organize it in large-scale applications
— Experience scaling and optimizing the performance of web applications
— A good eye for design, a solid understanding of user experience principles and experience collaborating with design and product teams using tools like Invision, Abstract, or Figma
— Experience with cross-platform testing and identifying browser edge cases
— Experience building responsive web applications that work well on both desktop and mobile devices
— Great communication skills to work closely with the team and improve the product daily
— Level of English: Upper-Intermediate

Nice-to-have

— Experience building browser extensions or user scripts
— Knowledge of Node.js and Ruby on Rails backend development
— Experience with deep third-party API integrations (e.g. GitHub)

Responsibilities

— Making every user interaction with the product a delightful and polished experience
— Defining best practices for UI design, user experience and general software development
— Contributing to the ideation, technical design, implementation, and testing of product features
— Improving technical skills, sharing knowledge with the rest of the team and acting as a mentor for other developers
— Identifying ways to improve technical stack, prioritizing them with the team, and making them happen
— Championing high standards for code quality, test coverage and continuous deployment goals
— Adopting best practices in software development and refining our workflow
