React Job: Operations Software Developer

As a software engineer, you will work in an AGILE environment to complete projects that match our clients needs with our business objectives. Your work will extend across the full stack, from UI to infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to choose the projects you can work on as well as design your own projects to build.

Our engineers need to be resourceful and display leadership qualities. With your expertise, you will manage project priorities and deliverables. The Role

As an Operations Software Developer, you will design, develop and maintain unique solutions that meet the needs of Wingmate and our clients. You will engage with customers directly to learn about new features and requests they want added to our offerings and build them out directly. You will build custom integrations using AWS, NodeJS and ReactJS that match the requirements set by our clients. You will design and build a scalable integration operation for our technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and deliver work within the associated timeline
• Engage with stakeholders to design and implement new features, solve bugs and build personalized integrations to match their needs
• Build one-click integrations between Wingmate and our partners
• Be inquisitive and learn outside of your given work area
• Investigate and implement new technologies and theories
• Support product management and business development functions as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
• Great communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about business development
• Experience using PostgreSQL and database design
• 1+ years of experience developing with NodeJS
• 1+ years of experience developing with ReactJS

Nice to Haves

• Experience developing with Ruby on Rails
• Experience using tools in AWS (Lambda, Route 53, SQS, etc.)
• Experience communicating with clients and stakeholders
• Unit, integration and E2E testing experience
• Experience using Docker and related softwares
• Knowledge of UX design principles
• Experience with integration systems such as Zapier
• Experience with non-relational databases

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
