This job offers you a monthly salary up to €7600. This is based on a 40-hour work week, excluding a 13th month and holiday allowance.

Your impact as Senior Software & Data Engineer (Python and NodeJS) at NNIP

Loading and transforming data, choosing the right method to share the data, building full stack applications on top of the data: it is all on your agenda. You determine what the pipelines and/or applications should look like and then you develop them. Your focus is on efficient processing of all data, the architecture therefore is optimally designed and built.

Your responsibilities

• You will build high-quality data-pipelines and full stack applications
• You engage with customers about their requirements and involve them in the journey to the final product
• You coach your team members and help them grow to become Jedi’s like you
• You take the lead by setting best practices and designing new solutions
• You review existing solutions and making (architectural) recommendations for improvement
• You automate all the boring stuff and monitor all the important stuff

• At least 5 years of experience in a software engineering role and at least 1 year of experience as a lead developer/data engineer
• Strong programming skills in Python and NodeJ preferably combined with Strong SQL knowledge
• Previous experience in building ETL jobs using Pythons, Pandas and/or PySpark
• Comfortable with (or willing to learn) ReactJs
• Experience in modern cloud technologies, preferably AWS (AWS S3, RDS, EMR, LAMBDA…)
• Knowledge of BI tools like PowerBI is a big plus
