React Job: Back-end Developer

You will join the company as an important team member of our global software development team. You will play a pivotal role in developing the kernel of our routing algorithm and provide back-end integration of applications to administer & route chats from a bot to a web based and mobile application and to provide insights through powerful BI/analytics tools.

The SentioCX services will be delivered entirely from the cloud with our Intent-based Intelligent Routing (IIR) algorithm at the core of our solution, which is leveraging artificial intelligence/ML.

The role of Back-end developer
You will join the company as an important team member of our global software development team. You will play a pivotal role in developing the kernel of our routing algorithm and provide back-end integration of applications to administer & route chats from a bot to a web based and mobile application and to provide insights through powerful BI/analytics tools.

You will collaborate in a virtual team with the System Architect, Business Analyst, Front-end developers, the Project Manager and designers.

Your tasks and responsibilities
At the heart of what you do is to:

• Identify, develop and debug integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers and to develop the kernel of our routing algorithm
• Building high-quality reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle
• Learn about new technologies
• Conduct UI tests and optimize performance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of demonstrable and relevant experience in a similar role with cutting-edge technology
• Master’s degree in engineering, applied-mathematics, IT, computer science or similar degree.
• Well-developed analytical & mathematical skills.
• Familiarity with complex distributed cloud-based software architecture and software development tools such as:

• C# (working knowledge of C# 8.0 or later preferred)
• ReactJS / Node.js (preferred) or Angular
• ASP.NET Core 3.1 MVC and Web API 2.0
• HTML 4.x/5.0
• CSS 2.x/3.0
• Understanding of REST principles
• Understanding of hosting content inside an IFRAME in a safe and secure manner
• Microsoft Azure platform, deployment of hosted ASP.NET Core web applications on Azure
• Kubernetes and/or other container orchestration tools

• Team player attitude;
• Good communication skils; highly fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel to and work from the Netherlands (Amsterdam/Zeist) occasionally
• Experience with Bot technology/Conversational AI tools would be a ‘plus’
