React Job: Engineer

Full-stack Engineer (more backend focus)

We looking for a Full-stack python + React engineer to join us in the next stage of our development. Although the role is Full-stack, there will be more emphasis on backend development.

This role is to join a high-growth HR tech company who are changing the way people take references and do pre-employment screening helping companies to hire with greater confidence and simplicity.

They want to make it easy for everyone to share how good they are and in doing so support the HR and recruitment industries with our innovative SaaS solution.

The Role

You will work with our remote-first technology teams and product teams to deliver high-quality software.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain integrations between Veremark and 3rd party ATS systems

• Build and maintain Veremark’s external API

• Build and maintain integrations between Veremark and background check services

• Build and maintain Veremark’s blockchain-based ‘Verified Credential’ work passport solution

• Enhance and improve production application - increasing code quality and test coverage

Your experience

• Comfortable diving into existing code-bases

• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs

• Knowledge of the full web application stack - deployment, SQL, Python Django

• Flexible enough to work well autonomously or as part of a larger team

• We are growing our platform 10x in the next year and we are constantly looking at improving our processes, architectures and technologies, as we continue to grow and face new challenges.

• Our core stack is Python/Django/React based. You'll be working in an AWS environment utilising many services notably RDS, ECS/Fargate, and Lambda, all orchestrated with terraform and with CI/CD automated around serverless and containers.

• You will be working in a remote-first environment with engineering teams based in the UK, Europe and Asia.

Salary: £60,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
