React Job: Senior Front End Engineer

urbancoolab. We are building a design platform for creativity in the metaverse and developing the future of self-expression by pushing the limits of computational creativity.

We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Front End Engineer to join our growing team. You will be part of a small and agile team with a direct voice into how we are implementing our platform.

We work with modern JavaScript frameworks and technologies, such as: Javascript, React, Tailwind css, Threejs and Fabric.js. We use Scrum, continuous integration and continuous delivery.

You Will

• Work on a cutting edge creative platform User Interface

• Implement well engineered applications

• Contribute to the design of our core systems and applications

• Maintain and implement high coding standards and practices

• Collaborate regularly with our cross-functional team

• Participate in and perform code reviews

• Create appropriate documentation as needed

• Work in an Agile early stage start-up team environment

• Work remotely

You Have

• 5+ years experience in front-end web application development

• You keenly understand the capabilities of the browser canvas and how it can be used to create graphic design applications

• Excellent modern HTML/CSS front-end experience

• Excellent understanding of JavaScript

• Have implemented graphic design type applications in a browser

• Experience with React and the React ecosystem

• Experience with FabricJS or similar frameworks

• Experience with WebGL, ThreeJS or similar frameworks

• Experience with Git

• Excellent engineering habits

• Appreciation for the importance of CD/CI

• Experience working with Docker for development environments

• Experience with Linux, OS X or Unix like environments as your primary OS development environment

• An eye for detail and design

Nice to Haves

• Experience with other Javascript front-end frameworks

• Experience with consuming JSON APIs

• Experience with Django or similar full-stack frameworks

• Experience working with SQL databases, like MySQL or Postgresql

• Comfortable working with cloud based services such as Google Cloud Platform

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
