Your new opportunity.

In your role as an Engineer, you'll play a key role in building features for our award-winning in-house Editorial CMS, INK.

Working in a small autonomous Agile squad, you’ll be crafting world-class features for our editorial applications using cutting-edge technology while further sharpening your technical skills.

Our technology stack is predominantly web-based, particularly using ReactJS, but you should be willing to deep dive into other areas including AWS & Kubernetes.

You’re confident using ReactJS and are excited by the thought of deep diving into React and web development. You enjoy being challenged and take delight in overcoming technical obstacles, and your passion for quality engineering drives you to continually improve your craft and learn new and effective ways of doing things.

You take pride in working with others to build high-quality high-performance products that delight and are depended on by audiences. You genuinely care about those around you and your positive and open customer-centered approach makes you approachable and a pleasure to work with. Agile work & planning practices are second nature to how you operate.

You will bring to the role:

• 3 or more years of commercial experience working with ReactJS
• Solid knowledge of Javascript (ES6) or TypeScript
• Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks and libraries such as React Testing Library, Jest & Cypress
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• A self-starting, inquisitive nature
• A continuous improvement mindset
• A strong focus on quality
• Excellent problem-solving skills

And if you can also bring the below experience that would be amazing (but definitely NOT essential):

• Experience in PHP, WordPress & Gutenberg (Block Editor)
• Experience building and deploying solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience building APIs using microservice architecture
